Richard A. McGrath

Richard A. McGrath is the founder and President/ CEO of Dominion Insurance Group, Inc. and Senior Managing Partner of Premier Planning Group. It has been his passion for over 20 years to serve his clients and ensure that their goals and objectives as they relate to their estate, retirement, and business plans are accomplished in a coordinated approach.
As a lifelong resident of Hampton Roads, Richard's community ties run deep and are seeded in local businesses, government and our military. The product of a military/civil service family, Richard attended Norview High School and graduated with honors. He then attended Old Dominion University and received his BS in Business/Finance. Richard entered the financial services industry with a desire to help others and holds insurance and investment licenses in multiple states across the country. He is licensed by the SEC and has successfully completed the NASD sponsored series 6, 63 and 65 examinations. He is a consistent member of the Million Dollar Round Table and a member of The Top of the Table. Richard specializes in working with business owners of closely held corporations and family businesses. His clientele, however, represent high net worth individuals, corporations, and institutions throughout the community. Over the years he has built a successful business that provides retirement and estate planning, asset management and employee benefit services. Richard's clients are routinely in the top of their chosen fields. Richard's commitment to strong long-term relationships and his access to unparalleled resources have separated him from other financial advisors.
Richard lives in Virginia Beach with his wife Sheri. They have two daughters, Allie and Ashley. Richard is an active member of his church and enjoys supporting the Old Dominion University Monarchs, general aviation and golf.
Mike Morrison

Mr. Morrison joined our firm as a Regional Sales Representative in July of 2007. His primary focus is working with individuals and businesses to accumulate, protect, and distribute assets within the clients' financial goals and objectives. He specializes in Medicare Supplement Programs for the senior market and assisting individuals and business owners in formulating a plan that coordinates their insurance, investments, tax liability and estate planning.
Mike joins our firm after a distinguished career with both the Ford Motor Company and Norfolk Shipbuilding and Dry-dock Company. Mike is a native of Virginia Beach and has deep ties to the community. He resides in Virginia Beach with his wife, Debbie and has two sons, Shaun and Michael. He and Debbie also have one granddaughter, Brooke.
Terri Franze

Terri has brought experience and organization to our team since she came on board in April of 2006. Any of Dominion Insurance Group, Inc.'s clients can rely on Terri's expertise to assist them with their needs. Terri's customer service combined with her abilities to coordinate products makes her a key element of daily activities.
Terri lives in Virginia Beach with her husband, Joe. They have three children, Joey, Brandon, and Elizabeth. She is an active member of her church and enjoys traveling and vacations to Disneyworld.

Nick joined the Dominion Insurance Group, Inc. in November of 2009. He brings his positive attitude and his strong work ethic to the table to ensure that our firm continues to perform as well as it does and to cater to our clients every need.
Nick was born and raised in Los Angeles, California and has lived in Virginia Beach for the past twelve years. He is also a recent graduate of Christopher Newport University with a strong background in communications and superior customer service. He also enjoys the outdoors and is an avid hiker, cyclist, traveler, and beach enthusiast.

As Dominion Insurance Group, Inc.'s Office Coordinator, Sheri is responsible for the overall financial management of the company. Sheri has successfully managed the financial operations and human resources of Dominion Insurance Group, Inc. since its inception. Sheri has enabled our company to successfully grow over time while limiting the company's indebtedness.
Sheri lives in Virginia Beach with her husband, Richard. They have two daughters, Allie and Ashley. She is an active member of her church and loves country music- especially Kenny Chesney.
